CPS offers a variety of services, including research training, research consulting and database management.

i) Research Training
CPS offers research training courses to students, teachers, government officials, NGO staff, and independent researchers. The training sessions, undertaken as individual intensive courses, cover topics including population studies; population and development; methods and techniques in population analysis; gender studies; evaluation research; techniques in survey research; introduction to SPSS software; data analysis and report writing skills. The courses can be taken at an intermediate or advanced level.

ii) Research Consulting
With its expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research, CPS offers consultancy on various types of socio-demographic, economic, health, and educational issues. CPS can undertake discrete research projects, or collaborate with other consultancies, depending on clients’ needs.
