The degree of Bachelor of Arts in History provides students with a knowledge and understanding of Khmer, Asian and World history, with a particular focus on the socio-economic, political, cultural and identity development of Cambodia and the Southeast Asian region.

Upon completion, graduates are qualified to work in a number of professional fields including teaching and research, library management, government, administration and NGO work, and the tourism sector. In addition, they are capable of further post-graduate study in the humanities or other fields including political science, tourism, economics or international relations, among others.
