Cambodia's attractiveness as a tourist destination has grown tremendously in the last decade, a trend which will continue into the future. As a result, many new managerial and administrative jobs in tourism marketing, development, planning, visitor services, hospitality and transport have been generated. In response to the need for capable human resources in the tourism industry, RUPP has established the Department of Tourism (DoT), offering the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management

Students studying for the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management fulfill the requirements for the degree over four years. During their studies, they undertake both practical and theoretical tourism skills training. The degree focuses on the issues of environmental, economic and cultural sustainability, and hones student’s industrial, analytical and research skills. This knowledge prepares graduates for careers in government ministries, hotels, travel agencies, development and educational institutions, tour operations, airlines and the non-government organization sector (NGOs).
