Curriculum

Curriculum Structure and Timetable
The M.A. (Sociology-Anthropology) consists of 54 credits taken over four semesters. In the final semester, students also write a research report on some aspect of Rural Development. Approved students can choose to write a thesis on a topic within the field of Rural Development, which is written in roughly six months. Students choosing to write a thesis, which is worth 12 credit points, do not attend the final semester’s classes.
The course timetable consists of three lecture sessions, each lasting one and a half hours, held each week. Classes are taught in the mornings only.

Modes of Instruction
The Master in Sociology-Anthropology majoring in Rural Development is taught in English and Khmer.
