Missions
The Department of International Studies aims to:
- Equip students with in-depth knowledge in the fields of international relations and governance, international law and organizations, international economics, and region and area studies;
- Develop students’ critical and analytical thinking skills, independent learning, and other transferable skills needed for a variety of careers in a globalized world;
- nurture students’ ability to apply theories learnt in class to real life situations;
- produce students who are able to act responsibly as good citizens in a globalized world.
