CJCC Strengthens Partnership with Techo Startup Center to Promote Digital Transformation for Cambodian Enterprises

The Cambodia-Japan Cooperation Center (CJCC) proudly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Techo Startup Center during the official launching ceremony of the “Tourism Digital Adoption Initiative Campaign in Cambodia,” held on 29 April 2026 at Fairfield by Marriott Phnom Penh.

The MoU reflects a shared commitment between CJCC and Techo Startup Center to strengthen Cambodia’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and accelerate digital transformation among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), particularly in the tourism sector. The collaboration forms part of a broader national initiative aimed at enhancing the competitiveness, resilience, and innovation capacity of Cambodian businesses through digital technology adoption.

Representing the event, Dr. Vong Rilida, Deputy Director of Techo Startup Center, emphasized the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in promoting digital readiness and sustainable business growth in Cambodia. The campaign is designed to raise awareness of digital transformation, provide technical support and training, and connect MSMEs with digital solution providers and development partners.

As one of the key collaborating partners, CJCC will contribute its expertise in business development, entrepreneurship training, and Japanese-style management practices to support the campaign’s implementation. Through this partnership, CJCC aims to further empower Cambodian entrepreneurs and SMEs by enhancing their digital capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and expanding access to innovation-driven business opportunities.

The Tourism Digital Adoption Initiative Campaign will be implemented across Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Battambang, and Kampot over a five-month period. Participating enterprises will receive digital readiness assessments, digital adoption planning support, technical training, and opportunities to access digital solutions and financial support programs.

The MoU signing also highlights CJCC’s ongoing dedication to fostering meaningful partnerships that contribute to Cambodia’s digital economy development and sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem. Through close cooperation with Techo Startup Center and other stakeholders, CJCC continues to support the growth of competitive and future-ready Cambodian businesses in the digital era.
