The Royal University of Phnom Penh has the pleasure of announcing the call for applications for the 2027 Sogang University Scholarship at Sogang University in the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with Jesuit Service-Cambodia.

Scholarship Benefits:

The scholarship will cover all associated costs, including airfare, tuition fees, insurance, and accommodation, as well as expenses for books and incidental charges.

Fields Offered:

Eligibility:

• be an ongoing fourth-year student at RUPP in 2025-2026 or have recently graduated from RUPP

• possess good academic performance with a GPA of 3.00 or higher

• have a good command of the English language of at least IELTS 6.0

• be under 35 years of age

Required Documents:

• Sogang University Scholarship Application Form

• A copy of the family book

• Original academic qualifications, such as transcripts, diplomas, degrees, and/or awards

• English proficiency proof/reports (TOPIK, IELTS, TOEFL or equivalent)

• Two recommendation letters, one academic and one personal, signed by the referee, are to be sent to the selection committee by the referees to the email sogangscholarship@gmail.com.

• Two personally written essays in English (for both essays, no more than 1000 words) on the following:

  • Why do I want to pursue the Sogang University Scholarship?

  • What do I hope to do with the knowledge gained?

• Other documents deemed necessary for the evaluation

Application Procedure and Deadline:

Recently graduated and/or senior students who are interested in applying for this scholarship must satisfy the requirements and submit the required and necessary documents to the Sogang Scholarship Committee through email at sogangscholarship@gmail.com.
